Bright Scholars & Heritage
Montessori Schools
Toddler, Casa & Grade 1 Programs Available!
We are committed to being life-long learners and to providing the optimal environment for children in our programs.
At Bright Scholars & Heritage Montessori Schools, we offer the experience of a second home, a place where your child will have the opportunity to discover the world around them.
Our programs are developed according to the Montessori philosophy in which we have child-centred, mixed age classrooms, uninterrupted work-cycles, a full range of materials, and highly qualified Montessori-trained and RECE teachers.
Our classrooms are divided into Toddler, Casa, and Elementary programs with age ranges varying from 18 months up to and including 7 years old.
Montessori Education
Once we observe the child’s strengths, interests, and capabilities, we create an individualized plan for each child, guided by a sequential series of presentations within these 5 areas:
- Practical Life
- Sensorial
- Mathematics
- Language
- Culture

Several of the areas offered within traditional educational programs are also included within our program found in our Culture material. Those areas include:
- Drama
- Music
- Social Sciences (i.e. History, Geography, etc.)
- STEAM – Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (i.e. coding, etc.)
Additional Programming
We want to ensure the development of the whole child, including additional features for a well-rounded experience exclusively in our programs with the following:
- French
- Outdoor Education
- Concerts
- Optional Extra Curricular Programs (i.e. Martial Arts, Dance, etc.)
- Parent Education
Schedule of Service
Our programs are open from Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 5:45 pm in consideration of working parents or guardians. In addition to our Academic Year from September to June, we offer a fun-filled Montessori Summer Camp during the months of July and August. Our Summer Camp is offered with weekly enrolment to give our families flexibility. For your convenience and consistency, the schools also remain open during March Break. We only have one closure in the entire year for 2 weeks during the Winter Holidays in the last week of the year and the first week of the new year.
Inclusion
It is the philosophy at Bright Scholars & Heritage Montessori Schools to welcome and integrate students with physical, intellectual, developmental, social, and emotional needs with equality, fairness, dignity, and privacy. Staff training, evaluation, and resource support is provided. An individualized support plan may be designed with long and short-term goals for the child. Every child and family is unique, all families are welcome in our program.
